I started practicing yoga to combat chronic running injuries and fell in love with the strength, flexibility, and balance it brought out in me. As a working wife and mother, I also appreciate the calm, relaxation, and energy that I derive from yoga practice! A devoted learner and teacher, I have a passion for sharing yoga’s unique ability to both develop and reveal my students’ capacity for strength. I emphasize clear and safety oriented pose instructions, and encourage students to make the practice their own! My classes are suitable for the beginner, but offer a challenge to experienced fitness enthusiasts.

I completed my 200 Hour yoga teacher certification at BlueBird Yoga in Saint Charles, Missouri in 2015, specializing in the YogaHour method developed by Darren Rhodes.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and spending time with my husband, two children, two dogs, and two cats. I have taught piano lessons for over fourteen years and love to share and make music.
