After practicing at home off and on for a few years, Gina’s first public Yoga class was in 2015. Though she had long been drawn to both the physical practice and the philosophy, she had gained a lot of weight in the four years and and felt awkward and ungainly – and certain she would stick out among all the “beautiful Yogis”. Her experience was completely the opposite and she was hooked from the first Practice. A few months later a major and traumatic life event led her to the studio daily where she met and was blessed to be led by many amazing teachers. The profound change she experienced emotionally, spiritually and physically was so immense she knew she had to share what had been given to her.
“Yoga is truly for every BODY and I seek to make it accessible to everyone no matter the age, experience or physical limitations. My first love is hot Vinyasa and I like to challenge my students AND myself to grow, however there will always be modifications or advancements.”
You can expect a mind/body/breath experience where you are encouraged to stay on your own mat and listen to your body. Gina feels blessed to study with many amazing teachers and received her first certification RYT200 with Joanna Izzo, have since completed a sequencing immersion, become Barre certified and is currently studying classic Yin.
It is my sincere desire to share the gift of this practice with my students and always remain a student myself. – Namaste
